These Terms apply to all visitors, users, religious workers, religious organizations, yeshivas, and other institutions that access or use the Platform in any capacity.

R1VisaConnect is a job-matching and intake platform designed to connect Orthodox Jewish religious institutions with qualified religious workers seeking R-1 visa sponsorship. The Platform facilitates introductions between religious organizations and workers and assists with the intake process for immigration counsel.

R1VisaConnect does not provide legal advice. All information on this Platform regarding R-1 visa requirements, eligibility criteria, or the petition process is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Immigration law is complex and fact-specific; you should consult a licensed immigration attorney regarding your individual circumstances.

R1VisaConnect reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without notice.

R1VisaConnect and its affiliated immigration counsel provide assistance with the preparation and filing of R-1 religious worker visa petitions and related immigration matters. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, approval, or result in connection with any immigration application, petition, or proceeding.

Immigration decisions are made solely by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of State, and other relevant government agencies. Approval of any petition or visa application is entirely within the discretion of those agencies and is subject to applicable law, regulations, and agency policy, which may change without notice.

Past results in similar cases do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Filing a petition through R1VisaConnect or its affiliated counsel does not ensure approval, and you acknowledge that denial is a possible outcome regardless of the quality of the petition prepared on your behalf.

However, this review process is administrative in nature and does not constitute verification, endorsement, or certification of any information submitted by users, including but not limited to credentials, qualifications, employment history, immigration status, institutional affiliations, or any other representations made by workers or religious organizations.

R1VisaConnect expressly disclaims any responsibility — legal or otherwise — for the accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, or reliability of any information provided by users on this Platform. The presence of a profile or listing on R1VisaConnect does not imply that R1VisaConnect has verified or endorses the information contained therein.

All users — including religious organizations, yeshivas, and religious workers — assume full and sole responsibility for any actions taken in reliance on information found on this Platform. R1VisaConnect strongly encourages all parties to conduct their own independent due diligence before entering into any employment relationship, sponsorship arrangement, or other agreement with any person or institution identified through this Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, independently verifying credentials, references, immigration status, institutional standing, and any other material representations.

R1VisaConnect and its affiliated counsel are not responsible for monitoring, tracking, or providing reminders regarding any immigration status expiration dates, visa validity periods, petition deadlines, employment authorization expiration, or any other time-sensitive immigration milestone unless expressly agreed to in a separate written engagement agreement.

It is the sole responsibility of each worker and sponsoring employer to:

Failure to timely file extensions or renewals can result in unlawful presence, bars to reentry, and other serious immigration consequences. R1VisaConnect and its affiliated counsel expressly disclaim any liability arising from missed deadlines, lapsed status, or failure to file timely applications where no active written engagement is in place.

• Monitor the expiration date of any visa, status, or work authorization
• Track USCIS processing times and receipt notice deadlines
• Initiate extension or change-of-status filings in a timely manner
• Maintain lawful immigration status at all times

Submitting an inquiry through this website, completing a worker profile, or communicating with any attorney affiliated with R1VisaConnect does not establish an attorney-client relationship.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify R1VisaConnect immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

R1VisaConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms, submission of false or misleading information, or any conduct that R1VisaConnect deems harmful to the Platform or its users.

By submitting a worker profile, resume, job listing, inquiry, or any other content to the Platform ("User Content"), you represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the right to submit such content; (b) the content is accurate, truthful, and not misleading; and (c) the content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

You acknowledge that R1VisaConnect does not independently verify the accuracy of User Content and that account approval does not constitute verification or endorsement of any information you have submitted. You bear sole and full responsibility for the accuracy of your profile, credentials, and any representations made to other users of the Platform.

You grant R1VisaConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and connecting workers with religious organizations.

R1VisaConnect reserves the right to remove any User Content at its discretion without notice.

You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following:

• Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information about your identity, credentials, or immigration status
• Impersonating any person, institution, or entity
• Scraping, harvesting, or collecting data from the Platform without written permission
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Transmitting spam, malware, or any harmful or disruptive content
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Platform

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Platform — excluding User Content — are the property of R1VisaConnect or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without the prior written consent of R1VisaConnect.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

R1VisaConnect does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. R1VisaConnect does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Platform.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, R1CONNECT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL R1CONNECT'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO R1CONNECT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless R1VisaConnect and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in New York, New York, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. R1VisaConnect is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by R1VisaConnect.

Your interactions with third-party services are governed solely by their respective terms and privacy policies.

R1VisaConnect reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the Platform following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
